أبوظبي، 26 سبتمبر 2024: تسلمت شركة الصير مارين للمعدات والتوريدات البحرية (ADX: ASM)، إحدى الشركات الرائدة في القطاع البحري، والتابعة للشركة العالمية القابضة (ADX: IHC)، ناقلتي "بيتيلجوس" و"بيلاتريكس"، وهما أول ناقلتين تستلمهما الشركة ضمن مجموعة تتكون من ست ناقلات متوسطة الحمولة، تم بناؤها بواسطة شركة "كي لبناء السفن" الكورية. تأتي هذه الإضافة الجديدة لأسطول الشركة لتلبية الطلب المتزايد على نقل المنتجات البترولية النظيفة والمواد الكيميائية.

من جانبه، قال نيتين ماثور، رئيس الشحن التجاري في الصير مارين: "تتماشى هذه الاستثمارات مع التوجه العام للشركة في تنويع محفظتها في قطاع الشحن التجاري، ما يضمن لنا المرونة والقدرة على التكيف بديناميكية عالية تلبي احتياجات الأسواق المتغيرة بشكل متسارع، وقد تم تزويد الناقلات الست بأنظمة تنظيف غاز العادم، بالإضافة إلى تصميمها لتعمل بأنواع متعددة من الوقود البديل؛ مثل الغاز الطبيعي المسال، والأمونيا، والميثانول، ما يجعلها مثالية للاستخدام المستقبلي ولعقود قادمة، مع ضمان الامتثال لأكثر التشريعات البيئية صرامة."
وأضاف ماثور: "يبلغ الوزن الساكن للناقلتين الجديدتين نحو 50 ألف طن، ويمكنهما تحميل النفط والمواد الكيميائية، ونقل ست شحنات منفصلة تمامًا من البضائع، ما يعزز إمكانات أسطولنا الحديث. وقد تم تأجير الناقلتين لشركة "ريلاينس للصناعات" (الشرق الأوسط) في مركز دبي للسلع المتعددة، وسيتم تشغيلهما لنقل الشحنات حول العالم."

Al Seer Marine Secures Financing for Sustainable Gas Carriers
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), a leading Islamic financial institution, announced the successful closure of a sharia compliant syndicated transaction totaling AED 865 million (USD 235 million) for BGN and Al Seer Marine to finance new and energy - efficient gas carriers. This financing marks the second tranche of a larger syndication amounting to USD 370 million, which will be used to finance the construction of three state-of-the-art Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGCs) in South Korea and Japan.
ADIB acted was as the Mandated Lead Arranger, Coordinator, Bookrunner, Shari’a Advisor, Investment and Security Agent on the deal, and was supported by several mandated arrangers specialized in the maritime and energy sectors including Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), National Bank of Fujairah (NBF), Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD), and a strategic partner from KSA The Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD), a multilateral development financial institution and the private sector arm of Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group. The documentation and coordination of the transaction were handled by leading global law firms Dentons, as the Syndicate’s Legal Counsel, and Holman Fenwick Willan (HFW) as the Company’s Legal Counsel.
The financing, conducted through ABGC, a joint venture between energy and commodities trader BGN and Al Seer Marine, will facilitate the construction of three new energy-efficient VLGCs, with two vessels slated for delivery in 2025 and the third vessel expected in 2026. The vessels will be dual-fuel efficient, and will enjoy operational, economic and environmental efficiencies through their Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) engines. LPG engine technology is a step towards zero-carbon propulsion of vessels and the shipping industry achieving its ambitious greenhouse gas emission reduction goals.

Al Seer Marine hits new high revenue record of Dh 1billion in 2022
Al Seer Marine, the global player across multiple marine sectors and International Holding Company (IHC) subsidiary, has announced another strong revenue profit of Dh1.11 billion for the full year of 2022 – a 79 per cent increase compared to the same period of 2021.
The company’s audited financial statement and its Q4 results reveal ASM’s rapid growth, as it reporting a notable performance for the year 2022, with its gross profit swelling to a 72 per cent increase. This net profit reached Dh1billion, while its revenue hit Dh1.11 billion compared to Dh620.75 million in 2021.
Meanwhile, its total assets amounted to a whopping Dh9.61 billion by the end of 2022, compared to Dh6.12 billion at the start of the year.
Guy Neivens, CEO of Al Seer Marine, said the impressive results reaffirm Al Seer Marine’s commitment to delivering value service, expanding business partnerships around the world, all while vowing to fulfil greater profibility for the end of 2023.
Al Seer Marine’s general and administrative expenses amounted to Dh45.56 million for the year 2022 compared to Dh27.86 million for the same period in 2021.
“The 2022 accomplishment provides Al Seer Marine and its dedicated team wth a solid platform and scale to drive forward its growth ambitions in the future. I have full confidence that this year will reveal new-record milestones achieved,” added Neivens.
Already, 2023 is beaming for ASM, as it recently revealed Mega II, the world’s largest 3D printer, changing the game for maritime industry for the UAE, and the region. The giant 3D printer will provide numerous advantages during the manufacturing process, enabling engineers to design parts with increased complexity in drastically shorter timeframes. The additive manufacturing is anticipated to have an annual growth of 30 per cent over the next five years.
According to the market research, the global additive manufacturing market size was valued at Dh50.8 billion in 2021 and is expected to reach Dh161 billion by 2027. ASM is expecting to utilise the machinery by over 30 per cent in 2023 and up to 90 per cent in 2027 with an estimated turnover of more than Dh30 million per year.
